Marlena is a spring pullover with modern lines and pretty details knit in merino/silk blend. Easy to wear it can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

The sweater is predominantly knitted in stockinette stitch broken with panels of reverse stockinette stitch, twisted stitch cables and Vikkel Braid to add visual interest.
The construction is simple with minimal shaping and dolman sleeves. The sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up, with very little seaming under arms. Sleeves are also knit in the round.

There are different techniques used: 3-neeedle bind off, short rows, Vikkel Braid for which links to the tutorials are included.

Marlena has been designed as a close fit sweater, however, it can be knitted with positive ease for a more casual look.
