Knit from the center out, this versatile shawl uses combination of increasing and decreasing in size bands of stockinette stitch and reverse stockinette to create a great textured neck accessory. Great for knitters of all levels, it is worked throughout with strands of Silk Cloud and Staccato held together, shrouding halo of mohair over the gleam of drapey merino and silk.

Originally published as part of Shibui Silk booklet in January 2012 which is now out of print.

Marlow Shawl is now available as a single pattern.

NOTES
Staccato contains a high silk content, and relaxes significantly after washing; for this reason, swatches must be washed and blocked to accurately measure gauge. Or if you choose to skip swatching stage keep in mind that your finished shawl will grow significantly once it is washed.
Hold one strand Staccato together with one strand Silk Cloud throughout.
