A crescent shaped shawl knitted from the top down. This shawl was inspired by the striped marquees that you see at country fairs and fetes, Make it in one color, use left over bits from other projects or choose two special skeins from your stash to make this project yours.

Choose any 2, 100g skeins of yarn or 1x100g skein for your MC, plus a selection of oddments if you want to make the stockinette sections different colors. You will need about 80g of yarn for this.

If you want to make the shawl smaller you can extend the 3rd lace chart by repeating rows 1-14 then binding off, omitting the final section of stockinette and Chart 4.
If you want to make it larger, you can omit the last 8 rows of chart 4,
add an extra 22 rows of stockinette, and then add another lace section, though you will have to work out where to start the
lace pattern yourself.
