Martin the Tabby Cat
Martin the Tabby Cat has been curled up in Kerry Lord’s menagerie since 2014, appearing in the first original versions of Edward’s Menagerie. The ‘tabby’ gene can in fact be found in all domestic cats, which creates the huge variety of markings that can be identified on these fabulous felines, but usually you’ll be able to spot a vague ‘M’ marking on their foreheads. This crochet pattern is a great way to learn Kerry Lord’s ‘complex colour changing’ technique, and will result in a cuddly companion who will curl up with you for life.
TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet animal kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy. Share your progress with the TOFT community on Instagram @toft_uk using the #edsanimals hashtag.
