Mary the Brontosaurus
Mary the Brontosaurus was one of the first dinosaurs to be crocheted by Kerry Lord, and has been roaming around the menagerie since 2014. Perfect for complete beginners looking to learn crochet for the first time, this pattern is based on one of the most well-known dinosaurs in the history books. First discovered in the 1870s, the brontosaurus is known for its long neck and tail. This crochet version won’t take up as much room in your home as her enormous prehistoric friends, and she’s packed full of personality.
This fun crochet dinosaur project forms part of TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. This amigurumi crochet animal kit contains our luxurious pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.
