Ever since I saw Ali preview the Ireland collection months ago, I knew It would be so special. Ali of Explorer Knits and Fiber has a way of capturing spirit in her colorways.

Ireland holds a special place in my heart - I visited Northern Ireland every year as a child. My Granny, Mary, would open her home each summer and do her absolute best to make our time their precious and care-free.

We would stay on the farm, ‘help’ with the milking, and climb up and down some of the hills in the area. Once back at the house, Granny would always have the most lovely food for us. She was thoughtful in all she did, and loved to spend time caring for beautiful garden. As I designed this cowl, it felt so fitting to name It after my granny.

I share this design with you with a warm heart. I hope you find joy and connectedness throughout the knit.
