A snuggly cowl with simple but striking stitchwork makes the perfect deep winter accessory. Tailor Mason to your climate by selecting a double-stranded version for serious warmth or working with a single strand for a cowl appropriate to milder weather. Both Masons use ridges of a contrast color interrupted by slipped stitches for a woven effect that’s eye catching but simple to execute. A funnel shape improves the fit, and single-rib tubular edges provide an elastic and professional finish.
Construction
This cowl is worked circularly from the bottom up.
