This is a great yarn stashbuster!!!! The headwarmers are knit in rows and do not require much yarn. The I-cord flower with button center is just a flattering embellishment. You embellish your headwarmers how ever you wish. Instructions are given in the pattern for knitting an I-cord.

Don’t be too concerned about the gauge as the headwarmers are very stretchy and the placement of the button closures will make these quite adjustable.
