Mate
From the pattern description: Mate is done in diagonal patchwork (entrelac) knitting. The whole garment is knitted in stockinette stitch, which sets off the plaited texture.
Mate is a soft and warm sweater, suitable for outdoor wear on a chilly summer evening, as a weapon against the cold of winter, or as an indoor energy saver.
Yarn: pattern calls for 12 100g balls of worsted (42 oz total).
Needles: one circular needle and one set of double-pointed needles in size 3.5 mm (US 4, UK 9-10). Length of circular needle is not specified, but is used for knitting the lower edge of the sweater - ~280 stitches.
