Matomoko is a delicate top-down cardigan, knit in fingering weight yarn. Lace and cables add interest to the hem and cuffs. Starting at the neck, this cardigan is knit back and forth on one cirucular needle. Sleeves are knit in the round to the cuff and button/buttonhole bands are picked up and knit after body is completed.

• Intended to have 0 to 2 inches of positive ease (choose a finished bust size of 0 to 2 inches larger than your actual bust size).

Fingering weight wool/silk blend yarn.
1100 (1200, 1300, 1425) (1575, 1700, 1850) yards

Gauge
• 25 sts and 32 rows on needle size US4 (3.5mm) in stockinette is 4” (10cm)
• 28 sts and 32 rows on needle size US4 (3.5mm) in ktbl, p1 ribbing is 4” (10cm)

Gauge should be met both in the round and flat.

Needle Size
• Size US4 (3.5mm) 32” (40” for larger sizes) circular needle for body worked flat
• Size US4 (3.5mm) needles for working small circumference in the round (sleeves)
