Maxine is a cowl that’s a great weekend project. It’s a quick one, making it a lovely last minute gift as well!

Ancient Arts Fioritura Worsted (70% SW Merino, 20% Silk, 10% Cashmere Goat; 220 yds/200m; 100g), 1 skein Irish Linen, Color A, 1 skein Davy Jones Locker, Color B, 1 skein Birch Leaves, Color C

Recommended needle size
US8 (5mm) 24” circular (or size to obtain gauge)
Stitch marker, tapestry needle

Gauge
In Slip Stitch Pattern, 18 stitches and 21 rounds = 4”, blocked.

Maxine uses nearly the same amount of yarn for each color. The exception is whichever two colors you decide to use for your rolled edges will have used more. Yardage will also depend on whether you meet gauge, so I’ve noted a wider range.
