Mayla is a feminine slouchy beret knitted in the round, bottom up, with little bobbles and lacy cables that twists at the crown creating a beautiful floral form resembling the variety of water lily known as “Mayla”.

Tools needed: size 5 and 5,5 mm (US 8 and 9) circular/dpn needles; cable needle, 1 marker, tapestry needle
Material needed: approx 180-270 m (197-295 yards) of worsted yarn that give you the above gauge
Pattern Difficulty: Intermediate - skills required: knitting in the round (using dpn on the last rounds for crown), increasing, decreasing, knitting and purling through the back loop, basic lace and cables knitting knowledge. In the pattern I explain how to make bobbles without turning your work.
