NOTES
pattern updated August 2020
- This cowl is constructed on the bias. It starts as plain
stockinette. Then you begin to create eyelet stripes that, at
first, are 8 stitches apart (4 of those), and then 6 stitches
apart (4 of those), then 4 stitches apart (4 of those). Then
it ends as it started, with plain stockinette.
- This pattern calls for a provisional cast-on to begin and
grafting to finish that makes the piece appear seamless.
If you don’t know how or don’t want to do this, you can
do a regular cast-on and bind-off and then seam the ends
together. Or you can do a provisional cast-on and then do a
three-needle bind-off. Your choice!
