Meadow Moon is inspired by a nighttime walk through a moonlit meadow. This top down and seamless sweater starts with a rolled neckline and features an easy 2 color stranded yoke. Options for both short and long sleeves are included in the pattern. For my version, I used a strand of La Bien Aimée lace weight Helix held with a strand of lace weight mohair silk and the resulting fabric is fluffy, light as a feather, and has a beautiful drape. The pattern gauge is versatile: you can use a single strand fingering or sport weight yarn or hold 2 strands of lace weight held double. Designed with relaxing knitting in mind, this colorwork yoke design is meditative and easy to memorize.

Needle C: US 5 / 3.75 mm DPNs or 32” (80 cm) or longer circular needle for magic looping colorwork cuffs, to ensure cuff is not too tight.
GAUGE

CONSTRUCTION
Starting from the top, a simple rolled neckline is worked. Next, a 2 color stranded yoke is knit in the round. For a nicely fitting neckline, short row shaping is worked to shape the back of the sweater. The sleeves and body are separated and sleeve stitches are held on waste yarn for finishing later. The body is worked top to bottom and finished with a ribbed hem. Short or long sleeves are then knit from the top down and completed with colorwork cuffs and an I-cord edging for long sleeved version or ribbing for short sleeved version.
