Meandersocks
Inspiration: I like the ancient world and archaeology. So my patterns are often inspired of very old designs.
These lace pattern socks are inspired by the typical Greek meander pattern that can be found on many vases, walls and floors in ancient Greece and was later used and adapted again and again.
Pattern notes: The socks are worked from the toe to the cuff. They have a toe with short rows with double stitches (German short rows) and a reversed French Heel.
There is a right and a left sock. The meanders are therefore mirrored.
Sizes: Circumference Size S = 60 sts = 7.5´´ (19 cm), Size M = 64 sts = 8.25´´ (21 cm), Size L = 68 sts = 9´´ (23 cm)
Errata: left foot Size M: round 19 stitch 10 should be Skp. And round 35 stitch 18 should be skp.
