Meet Me in the Middle is a cozy blanket made up of colorwork log cabin blocks. Each block is a blend of striped and solid sections knit completely in garter stitch.

There is quite a bit of creative freedom with this design. For the contrasting color you could..

• use 12 mini skeins in a similar color family (as shown), OR
• use only 1 contrasting color throughout, OR
• use up to 48 different colors, OR
• use one color for the majority of the blocks and throw a few pops of color in for fun

… the possibilities are endless. Make it your own in any way you wish. I can’t wait to see the combinations you create!

Seed Fingering from Heidi & Lana (90% merino wool, 10% nylon) 420 yards (384 m)/ 100 g (3.53 oz) per skein: 7 skeins in Frost (MC) and 12 mini skeins 84 yards ( 77 m)/ 20g (0.7 oz) each in a different color (CC1-12)
Or approx 2940 yards (2,689 m) for MC and 1,008 yards (922 m) for total CC, of fingering weight yarn
US 6 (4 mm) 16” circular needles or straight needles (or size required to obtain gauge)
