approx 18 sts and 18 rows / 4” x 4” in Xplorer’s Stitch (after blocking)

To save time, check your gauge
and read all instructions thoroughly before beginning.

DESIGNER’S NOTES:
1) One strand of each yarn is held together throughout.

2) RS rows and WS rows are worked on different needle sizes; RS rows on 4.5 mm (US7) and WS rows on 3.75 mm (US 5). Using interchangeable needles with one cable and one of each size needle is highly recommended. Lace tip needles are recommended.

3) Pattern Stitch creates a natural bias to the knitted fabric. Pieces are worked and blocked to standard formats, but will return to biased shapes after blocking. Though the fabric created will block readily to various dimensions, best results will be obtained if actual gauge is very close to that listed.

4) Start new ball of strander at the beginning of a row. Main color ends skeins can be felted together invisibly (using spit splice), or begin new yarn at beginning of a row.
