Mehendi is a hat and mittens set inspired by intricate henna designs.

HAT SIZE: S/M/L, to fit head circumference 17-18/19-20/20-22 in (43-46/48-51/51-56 cm);
brim circumference 13.5/16/18 in (34/40/46 cm).
MITTENS SIZE: average female, approximately 8 in (21 cm) long and 7 in (18 cm) hand circumference
MATERIALS:
o US 2 and US 2.5 (2.75 and 3 mm) circular needle (adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge)
o stitch markers
o tapestry needle
YARN: Malabrigo Finito {100% Merino, 200 yards/183 meters per 50g} – 1 skein for hat and 1 skein for mittens or other fingering weight yarn to obtain gauge. Sample shown in color Pearl Ten.
GAUGE: 30 sts x 42 rows=10 cm/4 inches in stitch pattern using larger needle
