Mendocino
A beautiful floral crochet square inspired by my time in Mendocino, California and the beautiful coastline.
This square is rated as intermediate due to the front post stitches, and crochet detailing that are worked behind. It is not recommended that a complete beginner make this but if you’re like me you may be up to the challenge :-) I’m always available to help.
Mendocino measures 12” when made with Vanna’s Choice with a 5mm (H) hook to gauge (which is stated in the pattern). I’ve also made it in additional colorways with different yarn and added rows to reach size.
Although I like to change colors each round the choice is yours. I was using 7 colors and have given instructions on when and which color to select in the pattern.
The pattern has been fully tested, but we’re all human so if you find an error please contact me so that I may update the instructions for future crocheters.
