Men's Staghorn Waffle Sweater
Inspired by the Colorado elk bugling season with its characteristic rutting calls of the bulls and beautiful fall colors in the Rocky Mountains, this cozy warm Staghorn sweater with a squishy slip stitch waffle pattern was created to head outside and enjoy the outdoors.
Staghorn cables are placed along the body’s sides and in a contrasting color (using Intarsia) along the outside of the sleeves continuing into a saddle shoulder, as well as a decorative front zipper cable panel. The cables begin within the bottom and sleeve ribbing and are continued into the neck ribbing. Intermittent, simple short-rows are worked to address different row gauges between the waffle and cable patterns. The sweater is worked flat in pieces and seamed.
