Meow!
Overlay mosaic crochet
Pattern includes 2 separate charts (and full written instructions for each), which may be put together in any order you wish to create your own customised blanket (or indeed scarf, cushion, runner or any other item you may wish to make).
The pattern is available in both UK and US terms, and includes lots of helpful photos, making it suitable for all levels, including beginners to this technique - it is much easier than it looks!
Video tutorials are also now available:

Please note, the pattern does not include a border.
There are instructions for various fringes, but if you would like to add the envelope border pictured this is available separately (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/easy-envelope-bo...)
I designed this as a baby blanket for my new grand niece Elsie, but it is not just for babies … my next one will probably be a throw for my sofa using Stylecraft’s Highland Heathers … if I can find the time to make it in between all of the other design ideas that keep popping into my head!
