This pattern has been a staple in the annual reviews of my site as well as consistently topping the charts when it comes to patterns I get the most feedback on. This is a winner for gift giving every single year at all times of the year. The super cute thing is that it can be a classic mermaid tail blanket or you can get super creative with it and put your own little spin like I did when my daughter started going through a finding nemo movie phase and wanted it to be Dorie themed. How cute is that?! I think the yellow and blue turned out so nice for this pattern.
