This Mermaid Tail Blanket is first being knit as a KAL on the Designer Yarns group. It is sized to fit from child to adult and is easily adjustable for length by working more or less repeats of the stitch pattern. The tail fin is worked first in four pieces, the pieces are then joined together by knitting across all 4 pieces. Join to knit in the round and the body is then continued in the round. There is a back opening for ease of use and is worked flat from there.
Insert the feet into the tail fin and pull the blanket up and over the body making a warm and cosy blanket.
