As this pattern uses the overlay mosaic crochet technique it is suitable for a confident crocheter. However, all the stitches are explained with step-by-step pictures and descriptions, so it would be great for a confident crocheter, or simply someone who wants to learn a new crochet technique.

The pattern includes written instructions, charts, step-by-step stitch guides, hints and tips plus ideas for additional embellishments and ways of working.

The banner was made in Stylecraft Special DK yarn (medium) and a 3.5mm (E) and 3.00mm crochet hook.
The banner measure approximately 38” x 11” / 97cm x 28cm with this yarn and standard tension.

Different yarns and hooks are discussed in the pattern.

The pattern is available in both UK and US notation. Left-handers will need to read the pattern from left to right and each line of the instructions from end to start. Plans are underway to produce this pattern for left-handers at a later date.
