This is one of my very favorite handknits ever. Every lace-weight yarn I see calls out to become one. I need one in every color, because right now I plan outfits around my Mesh Leaf Cowl - no joke. It’s easy, intuitive, comfortable, soft, and beautiful.

Fingering-weight version
Yarn - 400 yards fingering-weight yarn. Not pictured.
Gauge - 26 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch.
Needles - US #4/3.5mm (or size to get gauge) straight or circular.

Both versions
Notions - Tapestry needle, stitch markers.
Skill level - Advanced beginner (lace, grafting).
Size/Finished measurements - One size fits most. 68” around, 12” tall.
