The slowly morphing cabled lines of this cowl/infinity scarf were inspired by the work of Dutch artist M. C. Escher, and his artistic experiments with tessellating patterns and negative space. This piece is worked in the round as a seamless tube, then grafted with a half-twist to form a Möbius-type strip.

Originally designed for the 2016 Miss Babs Armchair Traveling Knitting Tour.
