Metro is a fun take on the moquette fabric patterns that were used on buses, trains and tube seating back in the day.
Crocheted in simple extended double crochet stitches, all the detail is in the colour changing sequence.

Don’t worry, there’s a sneaky way of adding new colours which means you don’t need to sew in all those ends!
The cowl is worked in a continuous spiral and finished off by adding a full 360° twist to the fabric tube before mattress stitching the two ends together.

The pattern and charts are set up for right-handed users. I place my yarn over the hook (not under) as I create stitches throughout this pattern.
