Mexuar Wrist Warmer

Beaded wrist warmer inspired by a metal door in the Mexuar entrance hall of the Alhambra (Spain).
Mexuar is probably derived from the arabic word mashwara which means consultation. The inhabitants of Granada could consult magistrates of the sultanate in the Mexuar hall and normally they were not allowed to step through the metal door at the back of the hall to the heart of the Alhambra. This was a privilege for visitors with a high position and a close relation to the sultan.
