Mic-Mac is a colorwork yoke sweater. The colorwork pattern is specially designed for beginners to learn this technique. There are no long floats to carry. It’s a seamless sweater knitted from the top-down. The sample is knitted with 4 colors, but you can use only 2 or 3 colors.

26 sts x 36 rows = 4 x 4’’ or 10 x 10 cm in stockinette st with larger needles, after blocking.

Main color (MC): White Sands, 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5) skeins or approximatively 795 (935, 1055, 1265, 1390, 1580, 1780) m of fingering weight yarn.

Contrasting color 1 (CC1): Monet, 1 skein or approximatively 150 (165, 180, 200, 210, 225, 245) m of fingering weight yarn.

Contrasting color 2 (CC2): Sunflower, 1 skein or approximatively 90 (95, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140) m of fingering weight yarn.

Mic-Mac est construit avec un empiècement en rond au jacquard. Le motif de jacquard a été spécialement conçu pour les débutants qui souhaitent s’initier à cette technique. C’est un chandail sans couture qui se tricote du haut vers le bas. Le modèle présenté a été tricoté avec 4 couleurs, mais il peut être réalisé en utilisant 2 ou 3 couleurs.
