I was out shopping with my friend Michele who noticed a poncho on display. She loved the style but passed on it because of the price tag.

I decided to knit her a gift… A very similar style to the poncho she was admiring. The “Michele Poncho” was born.

I shared this pattern on another site and decided to bring it here so more knitter’s can utilize the free pattern.

This is more of a recipe than a formally written pattern. This is easy customizable to accommodate different sizes and stitch patterns.
