The body of this cardigan is constructed in one piece from the bottom up until the armholes, then the two front pieces and back are worked separately. It features set-in sleeves that are knitted flat, the front trim is picked up and knitted once the main body is complete. The cable pattern that takes centre stage is quite a simple repeat, which is easy to memorise.
