This lovely yarn, found at www. steamvalleyfiber.com, is one of those gems you find at Fiber festivals and such. Simple, soft and very warm, it knits great on a small needle to create the perfect winter boot sock, or just around the house sock. These will look very drawn in when you knit them but have alot of stretch and shows the simple alternating cable st nicely. The yarn runs at 250 yds per skein, and so I used two different tones that compliment each other well, at the heel and through the center, which makes this not your ordinary sock sock!
