One of my fondest memories of the Summer after I graduated High School is the many nights spent out late - bowling, then coffee at our favorite coffee shop. It felt like freedom and adulthood because that’s how you feel when you graduate High School.

This pattern allows you to choose length, color placement, and (psst!) you could even knit it without using the lace panels for every single section!

This scarf has multiple style options as well- It is knit as a tube and grafted into an infinity scarf at the end, so it can be long and looped around twice (or more), or could be just long enough to go around the neck once. It could also have fringe added to close up the ends and be worn as a traditional scarf.

Materials
o Fingering weight yarn in two colors. Sample yarn is 400 yds / 366 m per 100g
o Main Color (MC): 215 (330) yds / 197 (302) m
o Contrast Color (CC1-6): 300 (600) yds / total; sample used a six pack of 30g minis – 114 yds/104 m of each color.
- Scrappy option: CC sections can be worked until you run out of a scrap skein of yarn. This will create uneven lace sections, but will enable you to use up all the yarn. The sample scarf uses 50 yds/42m per CC section.
o Two sets of US #5 (3.75 mm) knitting needles with a 16”/30 cm cable, or needle size needed to achieve specified gauge in your desired style for small circumference knitting.
