The Mighty Cable Socks feature a central heart shaped repeating cable flanked by additional cables (and ribbing on larger sizes). The heel flap incorporates slipped stitches for strength while carrying the ribbed look down to the base of the heel. An optional ribbed gusset provides for a sock that will accommodate different sized-feet, hugging the foot (great for gift knits!). Cables that decrease to points at the toe provide for a sophisticated finish.

Test knitters considered this a project needing intermediate knitter skills, and found the socks to be surprisingly stretchy despite the cables. Thank you Knitpurlcdd, Edieglass, Kimssmile, Papermoon2, Nevolik, & Maririi!
