Pattern Notes
A beautiful match to my previously released Milkweed Hat.
Cables meet lace in this warm but lightweight asymmetric shawl. Milkweed features a perfect pairing of cables and eyelets that create the appearance of soft, wispy milkweed seed pods, twisting against the wind. A Narrow band of plump eyelet cables border a body of simple lace. The 12-row repeat can be easily committed to memory, making this a great mindless knit. This pattern is charted and also includes separate written instructions. Manchelopis is held double throughout the entire pattern but Aran weight can be substituted.

Yarn
Note: Yardage includes the gauge swatch.
420 yards/384 m of Aran weight yarn
(Pictured in Wooldreamers Manchelopis Unspun Yarn in color Light Grey. This yarn is classified as a DK when worked double-stranded but it works up more as an Aran weight.)
