The Mindfulness Poncho was designed for those in-between moments: cool mornings before the temperature rises or late afternoons as the warmth of the day starts to fade away. Those times when you need light layer without the weight of a cardigan or sweater. It drapes gently, stays in place, and flows with you - whether you’re working, wandering, or simply resting.
Beginning with relaxing garter stitch which is knit flat before joining to work in the round and moving gently through a series of texture and lace sections.
The lace stitch pattern of the deep border is inspired by spring flowers - delicate, hopeful, and quietly joyful.
The sample poncho is knit in a yarn with shifting threads that create a beautiful gradient without the need to change colours or weave in ends.
It’s the perfect project for rhythmic, relaxing rows and minimal finishing.
