Mini Family Dollies
Finished Size: 4 sizes: Daddy, 13cm, Mummy, 12cm, Big Sister 10.5cm, Little Brother, 9cm
Project Overview
All parts are knitted flat and sewn up at the end. No circular knitting is required.
Each doll requires a small quantity of DK (8-ply) weight yarn: under 10g for the skin tone of your choice, and about 5g for the shoes. Outfits are made with Felted Tweed yarn with the yardage of approximately 175 per 50g, 4-ply (fingering) weight yarn or sock yarn.
You have the freedom to choose any colour from your yarn stash, which is why I chose not to specify colours in the pattern. I recommend using DK weight yarn for the bodies with a yardage of approximately 160 meters per 50 grams. Felted tweed and self-patterning-coloured yarns can add a fun touch to the outfits. To create the hair, use 4-ply (fingering) weight yarn or take 2 strands from DK weight yarn. Please see the yarn information for guidance.
The legs, body, and head are constructed simultaneously, while other parts are created individually. To simplify the knitting and assembly process, the outfits are sewn onto the bodies and are not detachable.
Dolls come in 4 sizes.
