Finished Dumbo Octopus measures approximately 5cm tall when using a 2.5mm crochet hook and 4 ply yarn. If you alter your yarn & hook size, the Octopus will vary in size.

This pattern is worked in a continuous round & you will need to know the following:
ch = chain
MC = magic circle
st = stitch
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
tr = treble crochet
inc = increase (two single crochets in to one stitch)
dec = decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
FLO = front loop only
BLO = back loop only
FO = fasten off

Special stitches:

Picot = Chain 3, slip stitch into first chain.

Materials required:
2.5mm hook
4 ply cotton yarn in 1 colour:
Coral
1 stitch marker
2 x 6mm safety eyes (or black embroidery thread if you prefer)
Tapestry needle
Fiber-fill stuffing
