The first of my new patterns for 2016 - Sweet little Ugg-style Booties with deep Rib Cuffs - SO cozy and cute you won’t believe it! The booties have thick soles and nice round toes, topped off with chunky easy to make double ribbed cuff that folds over the foot just like little leg-warmers! Simple lace ties go around the ankle and tie at the back in a bow to prevent the booties from being kicked off - stylish, warm AND very practical - great for boys and girls.

The pattern is detailed and easy to follow, and the mini Uggs are super quick to make - an experienced crocheter could easily do them in a couple of hours. No fancy stitches - just a simple, classic design with a little individuality - I’ve added a very simple ‘Tree of Life’ motif to the front for a handcrafted Ethnic feel.
The Booties are made in two pieces - the cuffs are sewn to the upper and then turned down over the seam so it’s not visible.

The pattern guides you through the entire process from start to finish with color photos of every step along the way. If you’re familiar with basic crochet stitches, increases and decreases, and following a simple pattern, this will be a perfect project to improve your skills.

The pattern is written for 4 SIZES -
3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months, and 18 - 24months.

To make the booties you’ll need to know how to do the following stitches sc - single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
ch - chain stitch
DC - double crochet
hdc - half double crochet
And basic increases and decreases such as double crochet 2 together.
