These comfy mitts alternate rows of back loop slip stitch with yarnover slip stitch for a stretchy, deeply textured fabric. Turning chains form a subtle edging, and a single cable adorns the wrist. A button adds a charming finishing touch.

Pattern Errata: Yarn used in sample is Malabrigo Rios (not Arroyo).

Mitts are worked in lengthwise rows, then seamed, leaving a thumb opening. Fabric is very stretchy; choose a size close to, or slightly smaller than, your wrist measurement. Size shown on model: 6” circumference; model’s wrist measures 6”.

This pattern is part of the book Live Loop Cables in Crochet, which uses an innovative technique to create I-cord like cables on the fabric surface. Patterns were tech edited by Amy Daraghy (GreenHook on Rav).

Thanks for viewing, and happy crocheting!
