MiniMint
MiniMint is a fun, all-over colourwork sweater knit from the top down in fingering weight yarn…the kid’s version of my MerryMint sweater. Knit in a lively, colourful combination of yarns, it can look quite elf-ish and spritely in nature. Knit in a more subdued palette, it is a gentle nod to the holidays.
Designed as a stash-busting project to use up a variety of bits and pieces of scraps and minis, it can also be knit using just 4 colours.
My sample is knit entirely in Legacy Fiber Artz bits and pieces, but I encourage you to stash dive and come up with a fantastic version of your own that includes all your favourite colours.
Sizes 6 mths (12 mths, 2 yrs, 4 yrs) 6 yrs, 8 yrs, 10 yrs.
(Sizes 32.5” - 64” are found in the companion pattern, MerryMint)
YARN: Fingering weight.
Designed to use up scraps and minis, leftovers and stash. It can also be knit using just 4 colours. Perfect for advent calendars and for stash busting leftovers. Get creative!
The pattern includes full colour charts with colour keys as well as colouring charts for every section so you can test out your colour choices before knitting them.

Inspiration: This is the kids version of the MerryMint sweater, so the whole family can have a lovely holiday jumper. I imagine a crew of elves, hard at work making toys, and baking cookies, and feeding reindeer, all dressed in bright vibrant jumpers to keep the holiday spirit alive and thriving.
