Amigurumi crochet pattern to make this cute mom doll, her baby, bassinet and baby carrier !

Miniyou dolls were born back in 2019, when I went on a one month trip to Rwanda. At that time, the first prototype was named “Minime”, and I made her to be able to take pictures of the trip without a selfie stick. I really loved making her clothes matching mine and giving her realistic poses in the pictures and I thought I would probably not be the only one enjoying making a smaller version of myself or any loved one! That’s why I’m now making a “Miniyou” serie in which I hope a lot of crocheters out there will find their mini version.

Pregnant Miniyou was the first Miniyou to get a pattern, she has now given birth and is the happy mother of a beautiful little baby… She has replaced her beautiful long hair with a shorter haircut (much easier to care for), her pretty dress with leggings, a sweater and comfortable slippers and her big belly with pretty little eye rings that she wouldn’t trade for anything in the world!

Intermediate : You need to know how to single crochet, slip stitch, half double crochet, double crochet, make a magic ring, how to increase, decrease, sew an open piece to a closed one.

░ MATERIALS ░

► Sport weight cotton yarn (i.e. Scheepjes Catona)
Note: You can use any yarn you wish, just keep in mind that you’ll need to adapt your crochet hook size, and that the finished doll size will vary.
C1: skin color +/- 70gr
C2: hair color +/- 40gr
C3: black (legging) +/- 35gr
C4: off white (jumper and slippers)
C5 : night blue (baby carrier)
(optional) one strand white and one strand eye color to embroider the eye contour
► A 2.5 mm hook (C/2) for the entire pattern except for the sweater which will ask for a 3 mm hook (D/3)
► A pair of 12mm safety eyes
► A tapestry needle (or yarn needle)
► A stitch marker
► Stuffing (fiberfill)
► A wooden stick (like a skewer stick) to help with the stuffing
► (optional but highly recommended) fabric glue
► 3 small wooden buttons (about 12mm diameter) for the baby carrier
