Miranda’s Owl Minions are her constant companions. Ariel is a Collared Scops owl; Basil a Northern Saw-whet owl; and Cassandra a Snowy owl. They are crochet primarily with simple single crochet stitches in a continuous spiral. One strand of fingering weight and one strand of lace weight yarn are used as one to crochet these owls.

Gauge is not really important, except that you crochet tightly so the stuffing will not show through the stitches. Your owls will be about 2/1/4 inches to 2 3/4 inches.
