Mirkwood Glen is a beautiful place in the Hobbit movies, full of twisty branches - which is just what I thought of when designing this hat!

The long stitches in this hat are called quintr sts, or quintuple trebles. They involve a lot of yarn and time to make, but when you have the finished product in your hands, it’s a beauty well worth the effort!
