This design is a little salute to the fashion house Missoni and their trademark colourful chevron knits.

Worked in a combination of rounds and rows it is knitted from cuff to cuff in Noro ‘s Kureyon Sock Yarn with columns of vertical lace holes travelling across the back whilst the deflected stitches create a zig zag effect at both cast on and cast off edges.

The stripe effect is emphasised by alternating between 2 different balls of the same shade but at different points in the colourway. I’ve used Debbie Bliss’s Rialto 4ply as an accent to tip the shrug at the cast on and cast off edges and for additional interest on the ribbed cuffs.

I’ve added some background info and a couple of tips for this design on my blog here
