Shown in De Rerum Natura, Gilliatt (100% wool), 250m (273yds)/100g in Main Color (MC): poivre blanc (white) and The little grey sheep, stein fine wool, 230m (252 yds)/100g in Contrast Color (CC): Little Miss Sunshine (yellow)

APPROX. YARN REQUIREMENTS
Number of balls of Gilliat: 2 (Or m/yds: 375/410 of a similar yarn)
Number of skeins of Stein Fine Wool: 1 ((Or m/yds: 120/130 of a similar yarn)

GAUGE:
17 sts x 28 rs/rds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in in Stst on main needle, blocked
The perfect gauge is not crucial for the cowl, but a different gauge might affect the finished size and yarn requirements.

NEEDLES:
Main needle: A circular needle size to obtain gauge. Suggested size: 4 mm (US 6) circular needle
A corresponding size smaller to main needle. Suggested size: 3,25 mm (US 3) circular needle
