Miss soirée is subtly detailed with an attached crochet embroidered border along the edges and an ornate knotted button.
The bust has a tight fit, and then the body has some increases to give it a more flowy appearance It is worked from the top down.
The model in the picture is 169 cm / 5 ft 6 in tall and wears a size 2.

1 skein of Pernilla by Filcolana (50 g = 175 m / 246 yds) (100% Peruvian highland wool). For the crochet contrasting border.
2 (2, 3, 4, 4) (4, 4, 4) skeins of Tilia by Filcolana (25g = 210 m / 230 yards) (70% kid mohair, 30% silk). For the main colour.
For the sample, we used Pernilla in colourway “977”, and Tilia in colourway “101” for the main colour.
For the crochet contrasting border we used Pernilla in colourway “102”.
The vest is knitted by holding two strands of yarn together (one of Pernilla and one of Tilia). The crochet contrasting border is worked holding two strands of yarn together (two of Pernilla). If you only have one skein for the contrasting border, make sure you make two little balls.

4 mm / US 6 circular needle, cable length 80 or 100 cm / 32 or 40” for main body.
2.5 mm / C-2 crochet hook for the contrasting border.
