Garment is made with 2 strands of yarn held together as one.

The book quotes the amount of yardage as being the entire cone. My calculations are approximately 1120 (1245, 1385, 1540, 1700) yards, split into 2 balls.

Finished sizes from the book:

Extra Small (32”)
Small (36”)
Medium (40”)
Large (44”)
Extra Large (48”)

My intention was that the sizes should be Small through 2X when I wrote the pattern. But, if you prefer more ease in your garments, you will want to pick the sizes as written in the book.

As a point of reference, it looks to me that this model is wearing the garment with perhaps 1” ease. You may prefer more ease.

I’ve decided to post the photo I took of my daughter as the top photo for this instead of the book photo. I like it styled better this way. I could be biased, though. :-)
