The pattern was designed to use up leftovers of 5 ply guernsey yarn but also works, as written, with DK. Results may vary but as gauge is not totally crucial for mitts, you should be OK if you follow the pattern with most DKs and most guernsey yarns.

If you want to size up or down and keep the motif repeats perfect, you need to do so in multiples of 6 stitches.

1 50g ball of DK will work, or stripe colours if you have leftovers of less than that. Pattern written for dpns/magic loop circ.
