Mitred Squares Sweater
This pattern is a no-gauge, almost no-swatch roadmap. It is worked in strips of mitred squares that are knitted together as you go - so you knit to fit. You choose the length, sleeve length and fit.
The commercial yarn appears throughout the sweater to give it an overall cohesiveness, and the handspun yarns change randomly in each section.
I dyed them using three different fiber reactive dyes in three squirt bottles, squirting each mini-skein (there were somewhere between twelve and twenty colours) with a random amount of some or all of the dyes to get a wonderfully coordinating palette, with the yarns appearing kettle-dyed.
